Launch of Poet Amanda Shaw’s debut poetry collection, It Will Have Been So Beautiful at The Writer’s Center – April 26, 2024 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at 4508 Walsh St, Bethesda, MD 20815
Shaw’s work will be featured, and three fellow poets — Susan, Sunu Chandy, and Rekha Mehra, will also read. All four poets participated in an intensive Writer’s Center workshop in 2023, designed and taught by poet Sandra Beasley, on how to prepare and submit a full-length poetry manuscript. Beasley, a faculty member at American University, will attend, and this event will also honor her superb teaching. Refreshments will be provided.
